Laser Hair Removal That Works on More Skin Types
If you have been told that you are not a good candidate for laser hair removal, the problem may have been the laser, not you. Many lasers work best on light skin with dark hair. Our Splendor X is built to treat a much wider range.
Two Wavelengths in One Machine
The Splendor X combines an Alexandrite laser (755 nm) and an Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm). They can run separately or blended together, so we can tune each treatment to your skin tone, hair color and hair thickness.
- Alexandrite (755 nm) works very well on lighter skin with darker hair.
- Nd:YAG (1064 nm) reaches deeper and is absorbed less by skin pigment. That makes it the safer choice for darker and tanned skin.
Built for Comfort and Speed
Its square treatment spot covers skin evenly with fewer gaps or overlaps. Large spot sizes shorten sessions on bigger areas such as legs and backs, and small ones handle detailed areas like the upper lip. A dual cooling system, a chilled contact tip plus cooled air, protects the skin's surface and keeps you more comfortable during treatment.
What a Treatment Plan Looks Like
Hair grows in cycles, and a laser only reaches hair in its active growth phase. That is why laser hair removal is a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart, not a single visit. Some people need an occasional touch-up later. Between sessions, protect treated skin from strong sun. Emi sets the number of sessions and spacing at your free consultation.

Changed your mind about a tattoo? Laser tattoo removal breaks ink into particles your body clears over time. Most people describe treatment as mildly uncomfortable. What Happens at Your Consultation
Your first visit is free. Emi checks your skin type, hair color and the areas you want treated, explains which laser settings suit you, and gives you a realistic estimate of how many sessions you will need and what the full series costs. For tattoo removal, she looks at the size, colors and age of the tattoo before giving you an estimate. There is no obligation to book on the day.

The drive is about 10 minutes from central Midvale using State Street and I-215 East, or about 14 minutes on Fort Union Boulevard. We are in Highland Place at 6910 S Highland Dr, Suite 2, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121, with free parking on site and a wheelchair-accessible entrance.
